Well, that's how you get a reference & a new customer right next door. LOL

I had a skunk a little larger than those babies living between 2 garbage cans in my carport. I would go out at night to give it water and some food. It use to come over and sit by me. It actually allowed me to rub his back. One day I went out and he was gone and I never saw him/her after that.

How did they get under there in the first place?

I can’t tell if they ate a lot or all of them could be mothers and they’re having a mother sister bonding. Or they could be naturally chunky

Any advice on raccoons that keep tearing the soffit apart to get in? Our soffits are becoming more and more covered in wire mesh from all the destruction to get in. I really wish home builders/designers would design homes better, where it’s not so easy for critters to get in. We have to evict yet another batch of raccoons this weekend 😫

You know, considering y'all work with raccoons and other wildlife: are you up to date with your rabies shots?

I’ll never understand this, like just let them stay, they’ll only stay a couple months and once the pups are 2-3 months old, they will likely leave. At least wait until the babies are older first. Incredibly sad, they’re not doing any harm.

Earlier this year there was a raccoon in our roof one night; she had pulled off the bottom of the hardware cloth we had bolted over the vent with her clever little hands (you couldn't even tell she'd done it from the outside!). Our exploration scared her off. We used a cell phone on a stick to make sure she hadn't moved any babies in, and covered the hole with perforated metal screen this time, and stronger bolts, haha. My wife said, "If I was a raccoon, I'd want to have my babies in the roof. It looked cozy and dry." I hope she found a lovely place to have her babies. I thought of your channel the whole time!

We've been using a Reolink PTZ cam in our attic to watch for signs of intruders, including raccoons. Since we had our holes patched up and protection mesh installed (and trees trimmed back), we've gone a full year without any intrusions. Just recently ordered some more Reolink cameras that I'm still waiting delivery on to replace some cheap Eufy cams I've been dissatisfied with. Reolink are good cameras for relatively cheap that is on par with our Unifi cameras. I don't use Unifi for the PTZ cameras as they are far too expensive for the more advanced cameras. That's where Reolink comes in.

I wish homeowners would allow the mamas and babies to stay especially when they’re in an outdoor structure like this one.
